Attorney Skiba graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1973 and has practiced law in a wide variety of legal areas for over thirty-eight years.  Currently he concentrates in bankruptcy, though he actively handles estates, commercial litigation and other civil areas.  He served as the Chapter 7 trustee in Erie County for nearly seventeen years; previously he served as Chapter 13 trustee for the northwest counties of Pennsylvania.  He has represented mostly debtors but also creditors in Chapter 7 (both corporate and individual), Chapter 12 (reorganization for farmers), Chapter 13 (reorganization for individuals and small business debtors), and Chapter 11 (reorganization for individuals, corporations, and partnerships).  In addition to the his admission to the Pennsylvania Bar, Attorney Skiba is a member of the bar of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.Attorney Skiba graduated from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania (1969) and attended Cathedral Prep in Erie (1965). He has been involved in numerous activities of the Erie County Bar Association. Gary is married to Shirley, who teaches at Blessed Sacrament School in Erie, and has two grown children.

Thomas Brasco Jr. is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, with a B.A. in English Writing and Literature. He is also a graduate of the Capital University Law School. Following law school, Attorney Brasco served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael E. Dunlavey in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas. He then went on to practice law at Shapira, Hutzelm, Smith & Walsh from 2012-2015. Attorney Brasco is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Erie County Bar Association.

 

Attorney Brasco in the past served as chairman of the Erie County Bar Association Charity Golf Tournament Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors at The American Red Cross, Erie Chapter, as the Vice-Chairman of the Board, is a member of the Board of Governors of the Erie Philharmonic, and is a member of the Northwest Pennsylvania American Inns of Court. He is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania courts and the U.S. Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Attorney Brasco’s law practice concentrates on the areas of Criminal Defense, Bankruptcy Law, and Civil & Family Law Litigation.
